Uninstall Smart Scale services
Smart Scale services are uninstalled at the data center level.
Prerequisites
Smart Scale services can be uninstalled only if system pools do not exist on the data center.
Steps
- In the left side navigation panel, select .
- Click the arrow in the bottom-right corner of a data center to expand the Summary view.

Click the
Actions dropdown and select
Uninstall Services.
NOTE If there is a system pool in the data center, the Uninstall Services button is disabled.After the Smart Scale services are uninstalled, the System Pools tab is deleted. The ability to create mobile storage units for this data center is no longer available.

Enter a
Username and
Password.
NOTE You must have vCenter deployment privileges. Accept the host certificate, if it is not current, before entering the vCenter username and password.
- Click Uninstall Services.
