Downloading DDMC
The DDMC .zip file that you download depends on your environment.
About this task
Two DDMC packages are available for the ESXi platform. If you want DDMC:
- Without Smart Scale services, download the DDMC package with the prefix ddmc.x.x (for example, ddmc-7.8.0.0.rpm)
- With Smart Scale services, download the package with the prefix ddmc-ddnvm (for example, ddmc-ddnvm-infra-7.8.0.0.rpm)
If you want to deploy Smart Scale services, observe the Smart Scale requirements listed in Table 2.
Steps
- Log in to the support site using your existing credentials, or register to obtain your credentials.
- Select Support by Product below the Search box.
- Use the Find a Product search box to find DDMC.
- In the list of categories under the Search box, select Downloads.
- Select the link to download the appropriate version of the software.

Download the appropriate DDMC .zip file for your on-site environment.
NOTE DDMC in AWS, Azure, and GCP are available in the marketplace of each of these public clouds. Dell no longer provides the image file to download.
