Removing the graphics-card fan
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.

Steps
- Remove the three screws (M2x4) that secure the graphics-card fan to the system board and the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Disconnect the graphics-card fan cable from the system board.
- Lift the graphics-card fan off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
