Removing the light bar

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the base cover.
NOTE Please note that this procedure is applicable only for computers shipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti/Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060/Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 MQ.

Steps

  1. Remove the seven screws (M2x3) that secure the light bar to the base cover.
  2. Lift the light bar off the base cover.
