Procedure

  1. Align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
  2. Replace the two screws (M2.5x6) that secure the fan to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
  3. Connect the fan cable to the system board. Image: Connect the fan cable to the system board
  4. Route the display cable through the routing guides on the fan.
