Add Backup Service Level Agreement

When you add a primary backup, you can add a backup service level agreement (SLA).

About this task

Perform the following steps to add a backup SLA:

Steps

  1. Select Add in the SLA field.
    The Add Backup Service Level Agreement dialog is displayed.
  2. Specify the SLA name in the SLA Name field.
  3. Select at least one of the following as per the requirements:
    • Recovery Point Objective required - Enable this option to enter the RPO duration in minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years.
    • Compliance Window for copy type - Enable this option to configure the start time and end time for different copy types such as Full, Cumulative, Differential, Incremental, and Log
    • Verify expired copies are deleted - Enable this option to verify if the expired copies are deleted.
    • Retention Time Objective - Enable this option to enter the retention time in days, weeks, months, or years.
  4. Click Save to save the backup SLA.
