Troubleshooting installation and operation
You might encounter the following issue during installation or operation.
VM Direct host is added with short name instead of FQDN
Adding a VM Direct host with the short name is not supported after updating to PowerProtect Data Manager 19.11 or later versions.
If the short name is used to add the VM Direct host, PowerProtect Data Manager fails to add the host.
To resolve the issue, configure the host with the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), and then retry the operation.
