The following table lists the supported and unsupported characters for the NAS share name/path.

NOTE: Creates multiple shares by adding / or //. Export path name that are created do not show / or //.
PowerScale - SMB/CIFS Not Allowed Success Share names can contain up to 80 characters, and cannot contain the following: " \ / [ ] : | < > + = ; , * ?
Unity - NFS Allowed Success Accepts these special characters - \ / [ ] : | < > + = ; , *
Unity - SMB/CIFS Not Allowed Success Share name should not contain these special characters: " \ / [ ] : | < > + = ; , * ?
