PowerProtect Data Manager 19.12 Storage Direct User Guide
Reduce the backup-copy discovery time
The discovery of backup copies can be delayed by up to 15 minutes. To reduce this time, you can edit the Storage Direct agent configuration file.
Steps
- Edit the config.yml file.
- Search for /v1/agent/copies: recurringInterval: 13, and replace 13 with 4.
- Search for /v1/agent/change-notifications: recurringInterval: 17, and replace 17 with 6.
- Save the config.yml file.
- Restart the agent service.
