Modify the network settings
Perform the following steps if you want to change the IP address of the PowerProtect Data Manager appliance, or modify other network settings such as the hostname, subnet mask, gateway, or DNS servers.

CAUTION
If you change the hostname or IP address, ensure you follow all the steps in
Change the hostname or IP address.
Steps
- From the
PowerProtect Data Manager UI, click
, and then click
Default Network.
- Update the following fields as necessary:
- Hostname
- Primary DNS
- Secondary DNS
- In the
Configuration Details pane, click
Edit, and then update the following fields for the IP address as necessary:
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Gateway
- Click Save.
