Valid Arguments

  • On systems prior to Dell’s 12th generation PowerEdge systems: maxperformance, osctl, apc, custom

  • On Dell’s 12th generation PowerEdge and later systems: PerfPerWatt OptimizedOs, PerfPerWatt OptimizedDapc, PerfOptimized, Custom, DenseCfg Optimized
Description

Configures the system power profile. When set to a mode other than custom, BIOS will set each option accordingly. When set to custom, you can change setting of each option.

NOTE On systems prior to Dell’s 12th generation PowerEdge systems, profile is a sub-option of power.

Example:

A:>syscfg --profile=maxperformance
profile=maxperformance
