VMware connection with DHCP Option Tag

This section provides a procedure to create a VMware connection with DHCP option tags from Wyse Management Suite.

Prerequisites

  • Install the VMware addon from the latest Dell Hybrid Client package.

Steps

  1. Log in to Wyse Management Suite using your administrator credentials.
  2. Go to Groups & Configs > Edit Policies > Dell Hybrid Client 2.x > Advanced.
  3. Click Broker Settings and click VMware Broker Settings and Add Row.

  4. Provide the configured DHCP values: Connection Name, Host, Username, Password, Domain, and Port.

  5. Click Save & Publish.
  6. Log in to Dell Hybrid Client and click the VMware connection icon that is created on the desktop to launch.
