Upgrade BIOS using Wyse Management Suite

You can use Wyse Management Suite to upgrade BIOS.

Register your device to Wyse Management Suite and create a group.
Follow the below steps to download the relevant BIOS file:
1. Go to the Linux Vendor Firmware Service (LVFS) website.
2. In the search for firmware... search box, enter the device model.
3. Click your device from the search results to find the latest BIOS file with .cab extension.

Log in to Wyse Management Suite using your administrator credentials.
Copy the downloaded .cab file to the Wyse Management Suite file repository.

For example, C:\WMS\LocalRepo\repository\hybridClientApps for on premises.
In the Apps & Data tab, under App Policies, click Dell Hybrid Client.
Click Add Policy.

Enter the Policy Name, select Group Name, Task, and OS Type.
From the Application drop-down list, select the BIOS file.

Click Save.
Schedule the created App policy job to the applicable device or device group.
On the device, the Update Now message is displayed.

Click Update Now.
After the BIOS is downloaded successfully, the device restarts and updates the BIOS automatically.
