Configuring RDP Broker Settings from Wyse Management Suite

This section provides the procedure to configure the RDP broker settings using Wyse Management Suite.

  1. Log in to Wyse Management Suite.
  2. Go to the Groups & Configs page and select your preferred group.
  3. Click Edit Policies > Dell Hybrid Client 2.x.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Expand Broker Settings and click Microsoft Remote Desktop Settings.
  6. You can configure the following settings:

    • Connection Name - Enter RDP connection name. A shortcut for RDP is created on Desktop/Favorite.
    • Server - Specify the server IP address or Server Name.
    • Username - Specify a username to connect to the application server.
    • Password - Specify the Password to connect to the application server.
    • Domain Name - Specify the Domain name.
    • RD Gateway - Enables you to access remote applications from a web browser when connected to an internal network. You can specify RD Gateway server, RD Username, RD Password, and RD Domain.

    • Remote Application - Enables you to access remote applications in an RDP session. You can specify multiple application names by seperating them by semicolon (;).
    • Auto Launch - Enables you to configure the Citrix connection to launch automatically when you log in to the client.
      NOTE:If you enter multiple applications, then auto launch is applicable for the first application.
    • Server Authentication Level - Server authentication verifies that you are connected to the intended remote system. The level of verification must establish the connection is determined by the selected option for connecting.

    • Window Resolution - You can select the window resolution from the drop-down.
      NOTE:If you select from Window Resolution from broker settings, then global settings resolution value does not take effect.
