This session describes the procedure to configure the VMware session settings.
Log in to Wyse Management Suite.
Go to the
Groups & Configs page and select your preferred group.
Click
Edit Policies > Dell Hybrid Client 2.x.
Click the
Advanced tab.
Expand
Session Settings and click
VMware Session Settings.
Configure the following settings:
Basic Settings:
Minimized Mode - Enables you to launch a desktop or an application in
minimized mode.
UDP - Enables the
User Datagram Protocol (UDP) communications protocol for VMware.
Auto Hide Toolbar - Enables you to automatically hide the toolbar in the VMware session window.
Full screen Mode for VMware Connection Window - Enables you to launch the VMware connection window in the full screen mode.
Full screen Drop-down Menu Bar - Specifies whether the drop-down menu bar should be enabled in the full screen mode.
Exit On Disconnect - Specifies whether the Horizon server should not retry connecting if there is a connection error.
Drive Mapping - Enables mapping of user home directory in the VDI session.
BLAST Protocol Specific Settings:
Reconnect Applications Mode -
Enables you to reconnect the last opened application if the VMware session gets disconnected abruptly.
H.264 Decoding- H.264 works by encoding HDMI audio and video signals into an IP stream that can be transmitted over an IP network. A decoder converts the signals back to an uncompressed HDMI format.
H.264 High Color Accuracy - To allow increased color fidelity when H.264 decoding is allowed in Horizon Client, select the High Color Accuracy.
High Efficiency Video Decoding - Enables or disables
High Efficiency Video decoding.
Use OS Proxy Setting - Enables or disables Blast connections to use operating system proxy settings.

PCOIP Protocol Specific Settings:
Reconnect Applications Mode - Enables you to reconnect the last opened application if the VMware session gets disconnected abruptly.
USB Redirection settings:
Auto-connect USB On Insert - Set auto-connect USB when connected.
Auto-connect USB At Startup - Set auto-connect USB at startup.

NOTE: If you configure session settings values, it takes effect for broker connection.
