Upgrade BIOS manually from command line
You can use command line to upgrade BIOS manually.
Steps
- Download the BIOS file (.cab) from service provider website.
- Open the terminal and go to BIOS file location and run below commands with root user privileges.
fwupdmgr install filename.cab

- Press the
y key to reboot the device.
The device restarts and starts updating the BIOS automatically.
