תנאים מוקדמים
  • הורד את קובץ ה-BIOS העדכני ביותר בכתובת www.dell.com/support.
  • כונן USB 2.0 או USB 3.0 (לפחות 4GB)
  • כבה את Edge Gateway.
  1. במחשב נפרד, פרוס את קובץ העדכון של ה-BIOS שהורדת מהכתובת www.dell.com/support.
  2. פתח את תיקיית הקבצים שחולצו Edge_Gateway5000_1.X.X.
  3. העתק את קובץ עדכון ה-BIOS שנקרא Edge_Gateway5000_1.X.X.exe לכונן USB.
  4. הכנס את כונן ה-USB לאחת מיציאות ה-USB הזמינות ב-Edge Gateway.
  5. הפעל את Edge Gateway.
  6. הקש F12 כאשר לוגו של Dell יופיע על המסך, כדי להיכנס למסך האתחול החד-פעמי.
  7. במסך האתחול החד-פעמי, בחר באפשרות Flash the BIOS (עדכן את ה-BIOS).
  8. במסך הבא, בחר את קובץ ה-BIOS ‏( Edge_Gateway5000_1.X.X.exe) בכונן ה-USB.
  9. הפעל את תהליך העדכון.
