Removing the drive backplane
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
- Remove the system cover.
- Remove all the drives..
- Disconnect all the cables.
Steps
- Remove the one screw securing the drive backplane to the system.
- Lift the backplane from the hooks and then pull away from the system.
