Configure user-assigned managed identity
Configure user-assigned managed identity for a DDVE.
Prerequisites
You can assign only one type of managed identity. If you configure a user-assigned managed identity, you cannot also configure a system-assigned managed identity for the same DDVE.
Steps

In the Azure portal:
- Go to Identity resource.
- Create a new identity by clicking +Create.
- Switch to the managed identity, and click Azure role assignments.

In the
Add role assignment dialog:
- For Scope, select Storage.
- For Resource, select a storage account.
- For Role, select Storage Blob Data Owner.

Attach the user-assigned managed identity to a DDVE:
- Select .
- Click +Add and add a user-assigned identity.
