Configure user-assigned managed identity for a DDVE.
Prerequisites
You can assign only one type of managed identity. If you configure a user-assigned managed identity, you cannot also configure a system-assigned managed identity for the same DDVE.
Steps
In the Azure portal:
Go to Identity resource.
Create a new identity by clicking
+Create.
Switch to the managed identity, and click
Azure role assignments.
In the
Add role assignment dialog:
For
Scope, select
Storage.
For
Resource, select a storage account.
For
Role, select
Storage Blob Data Owner.
Attach the user-assigned managed identity to a DDVE:
Select
DDVE instance > Identity > User assigned.
Click
+Add and add a user-assigned identity.
Results
The DDVE is configured for user-assigned managed identity.
