Install Data Mover
Install the Data Mover plugin on the DataIQ host.
Prerequisites
Data Mover requires that the connected volumes are connected with read/write permissions.
Steps

Transfer the Data Mover installation package to a folder on the DataIQ host, for example,
/root.
cd /root/ cp /yourdrive/data-mover-2.0-88-installer.tar.gz .

Extract the installer:
tar -zxvf data-mover-2.0-88-installer.tar.gz

Install Data Mover:
cd data-mover-2.0-88/ python data_mover.py install

Change the internal password. This password is used to allow connections from Data Mover external worker nodes. This value should be changed, even if no external workers are used.
- From the DataIQ browser, select .
- In the Plugins section, select the ⋮ (vertical ellipses) icon next to Data Mover, and select Edit configuration.
- Change the value for password. Keep this password safe using the recommended security practices for your organization.

- From the DataIQ browser, select .
