Verify DataIQ OVA with the Open Virtualization Format Tool (ovftool) utility provided by VMware.
Prerequisites
Requires a system that has the OpenSSL and Open Virtualization Format Tool (ovftool) utilities installed.
Steps
Examine the certificate:
$ ovftool --machineOutput dataiq-*-vmware.ova | \
awk '/-----BEGIN.*CERT/,/-----END.*CERT/ { gsub(/^+ /, ""); print> "ova.crt"}'
$ openssl x509 -in ova.crt -text -noout
