Scan a volume or path

DataIQ performs regular scans on volumes. However, if data changes on a volume, the changes do not appear in DataIQ until the next scan. Perform a manual scan on a volume or path to see the latest information.

1. In the Data Management pane, in the Browse page, navigate to a volume or folder.
2. In the far-right pane, select the Actions tab.
3. From the Actions list, select Scan volume, Scan all volumes, Scan group, or Scan selected path, depending on what's selected.
4. Optional: Check the status of the scan. In the Jobs page, review the status and wait for the job to complete. Or, check the Logs page to see details about jobs that have already completed.
