For Oracle Linux: Install add-on packages for sites with an internet connection

On Oracle Linux, to prepare for an installation of DataIQ on a site that has an internet connection, install both the Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux add-ons.

If your site has internal package mirrors for Oracle Linux 7, then you can use these to install the packages.

Steps

  1. From a command line, install the Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux: 
    yum install https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
  2. Install the Oracle Linux 7 Addons: 
    yum install --enablerepo=ol7_addons container-selinux containerd.io-1.2.6-3.3
