Change this file only when directed by Dell Support. The configuration file controls functional aspects of DataIQ data management features.
Any modifications to this file can have significant impacts on DataIQ.
If you do need to make changes, you can modify the file either from the web UI: (From the
Settings window, select
Data management configuration > Configure data management), or from the DataIQ server at
/opt/dataiq/maunakea/claritynow/etc/clarity.cfg. (A sample file is available in the same folder at
clarity.cfg.sample.)
Conventions:
The data management configuration file contains settings in the following format:
Comments begin with a #. Comments can be entire lines or at the end of a line.
Empty lines are allowed and do not cause problems.
Authentication settings
This section controls how long users can remain logged into DataIQ. To learn more, see
Session login and timeout. Sample:
