Set up Active Directory over LDAP
DataIQ can authenticate users from Active Directory (AD) over Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
After you have configured AD in DataIQ, you can assign DataIQ groups to inherit the AD security groups. You can then assign roles, such as Data user.
After authenticating against AD, user information is temporarily cached in DataIQ. This information is never persisted.
Use the Active Directory Users and Computers tool to view AD users and groups to assist with configuration for DataIQ.
It may take up to 15 minutes for changes to users or groups on LDAP on Active Directory (AD) servers to take effect.
