Set size limits or expiration dates by folder
Set a limit of how many bytes can be in a folder, or set a date indicating the time when the data in this directory should have been removed. When a size limit or expiration date is exceeded, DataIQ generates an alert in DataIQ. Data Managers and DataIQ Administrators can also set up alerts to send automatic email notifications.
Steps
- In the Data Management window, in the Browse page, navigate to a folder.
- From the list, select a directory.
- In the far-right pane, select the Limits tab.
- Either set a Size Limit, a Date Limit, or both. For example, set the maximum size of data in a set of tagged folders to 200 GB.
- In the far-right pane, select the Apply tab.
