Renew Kubernetes certificates
DataIQ uses Kubernetes certificates, which expire after 1 year. There are two methods to renew the certificates: either reboot the DataIQ host, or run a script to manually renew the certificates.
About this task
It is recommended to reboot the DataIQ host at least once every 6 months in order to automatically renew the Kubernetes certificates.
Steps
To manually renew the certificates anytime, from the command line on the DataIQ host:
dataiq certificates --renew kubernetes
This requires a downtime of up to 10 minutes.
