Monitoring alerts and events

The Cyber Recovery software generates notifications about alerts and events. Both the security officer and admin user can monitor these notifications.

The security officer can configure a user's account to receive email messages with alert notifications.

You can view alerts and events from the Alerts and Events content pane. You can view alerts from:

  • The dashboard
  • The Alerts and Events content pane
  • The Masthead Navigation by clicking The Alerts icon

An alert indicates that an occurrence might require you to take action.

Alert categories include:

  • System—Indicates a system issue that might compromise the Cyber Recovery system such as a failed component
  • Security—Indicates that a user cannot log in or malware might have been detected

The Alerts content pane enables you to view additional details, acknowledge, and add notes for an alert.

Events indicate system events, such as the start of a job, completion of a retention lock, crso login, and updates of user information.

To view more detailed information about alerts (including descriptions and remedies) and events, click an event's or alert's row.

  • Click Icon of a right arrow, which represents the close details pane option. to close the details pane.
  • Click Icon of a left arrow, which represents the open details pane option. to open the details pane again.

An event log captures login and logout information for all user sessions.
