system email

Use the system email command to manage and view mail server settings. A security officer can access this command and all the parameters; an admin user can only use the --show parameter.

Syntax

crcli system email [--disable][--enable][--disabletls] [--enabletls] [--enabledomainchecking][--domains <email domain>][-- --disabledomainchecking][--enabletls][disabletls][--from <from field content>][--password <email server password>][--port <email server port>][--server <email server password>][--show][--username <email server username>]     

Parameters

--disable, -d
Disables the external mail server option
--disabledomainchecking, -n
Disables domain checking for email recipients
--disabletls, -m
Disables the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol
NOTE:Disabling TLS is not recommended as it causes all email communications from Cyber Recovery to the mail/relay server to be sent in clear text.
--domains, -x <email domain>
(Required for domain checking for email recipients) Allowable email domains
--enable, -e
Enables the external mail server option
--enabledomainchecking, -y
Enables domain checking for email recipients
--enabletls, -l
Enables the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, which is recommended (the default is enabled)
--from, -f <from field content>
The email address that delivers Cyber Recovery alert messages (the default is noreply@cyberrecovery)
--password, -p <email server password>
The email server password
--port, -t <email server port>
The email server port (the default is 25)
--server, -s <email server password>
The email server URL
--show, -o
Shows email server settings
--username, -u <email server username>
(Required to enable settings with authentication) The email server username
