vcenter modify

Use the vcenter modify command to modify a vCenter Server object that is configured in the Cyber Recovery deployment.

Syntax

crcli vcenter modify --nickname <nickname> [--hostname <host name>][--newnickname <nickname> ][--password <password> ][--tags <tag text>][--username <username>]

Parameters

--hostname, -h <host name>
(Optional) The host name of the vCenter server host
--newnickname, -k <nickname>
(Optional) The new nickname of the vCenter server
--nickname, -n <nickname>
(Required) The nickname of the vCenter server to modify
--password, -p <password>
(Optional) The vCenter server password
--tags, -t <tag text>
(Optional) User-defined tags for the vCenter server object
--username, -l <username>
(Optional) The username of the vCenter Server administrator

Example

[root@cr-system]# crcli vcenter modify --nickname vault-vcenter --newnickname Vault-vCenter-01

vCenter: Vault-vCenter-01 modified successfully.
