Using the
CRCLI commands
All
CRCLI commands have the same basic structure.
crcli <module> <operation> <parameters> <arguments>
Where:
- <module> is the module name, for example
users or
policy.
- <operation> is the operation name, for example
list,
run, or
show.
- <parameters> are one or more required and optional parameters.
- <arguments> are one or more required and optional arguments.
Note the following:
- Type each command on a single line, separating arguments with a space. Commands are lowercase and case-sensitive.
- To include a parameter, specify the parameter name or command-line flag followed by the parameter value:
- Two dashes (--) precede the parameter name, as shown in the following example:
crcli system logincount --userrole dashboard --maxcount 8
- One dash (-) precedes the command-line flag, as shown in the following example:
crcli system logincount -u dashboard -m 8
NOTE: Ensure that if you use abbreviated parameter names, use only one character for the parameter name.
Use the CRCLI help system to view the parameters and command-line flags.
- The order of the arguments is insignificant.
