users passwordexpiration

Use the users passwordexpiration command to manage and view the duration after which passwords expire for all users. You must be logged in as the security officer to manage password expiration settings.

Syntax

crcli users passwordexpiration [--show][--expirationduration <number of days>]

Parameters

--expirationduration, -r <number of days>
(Optional) Duration in days after which the passwords expire (the default duration is 90 days, the minimum duration is 30 days, and the maximum duration is 180 days)
--show, -s
(Optional) Shows the duration of the passwords before they expire

Example

[root@cr-system]# crcli users passwordexpiration  --show

Password Expiration Policy:
---------------------------
Password Duration:      90

[root@cr-system]# crcli users passwordexpiration --expirationduration 30


Password Expiration Policy:
---------------------------
Password Duration:      30
