This setting allows the platform administrator to control the access through the legacy manageability interface when the ABI is enabled and provisioned. Following are the possible values:

  • Enabled—The legacy manageability interface is used to read and change the BIOS configuration settings.
  • Disabled—When disabled, the changes (read and write) of the BIOS configuration are allowed through AB.
  • ReadOnly—BIOS configuration settings can be read, but cannot be changed through the legacy manageability interface.
