Valid Argument Enabled, Disabled, and Silent
This field controls the firmware device tamper detection feature. You may set the option as below:
  • Enabled—Enables the Firmware Tamper Detection feature. This setting enables BIOS event logging of tamper detection events and post screen warning messages. When set to Enable, post screen warnings prevent booting until the event is cleared.
  • Disabled—Disables the Firmware Tamper Detection feature. BIOS event logging and boot messages are disabled.
  • Silent—This setting enables BIOS event logging of tamper detection events. Post screen warnings are disabled and are not displayed. If a tamper event is detected, a BIOS event entry is added to the BIOS event log. However, no warning message is displayed, and booting is not blocked.
