Install the upgrade RPM package manually for CloudLink 8.0.2

Perform this task before you upload the ISO and then perform an upgrade from CloudLink 8.0 to CloudLink 8.0.2.

NOTE:Contact Dell Technologies Support to install the upgrade RPM package manually for CloudLink 8.0.1.

Steps

  1. Log in to the CloudLink 8.0 operating system shell.
  2. Copy the upgrade-installer-for-cloudlink-8.0.x-and-8.x.rpm package to CloudLink server directory: /home/cloudlink.
  3. Go to: /home/cloudlink/ and run rpm -ivh --force upgrade-installer-for-cloudlink-8.0.x-and-8.x.rpm.
    The RPM package is installed.
  4. Upload the ISO from the web UI and click Upgrade.
    The system reboots.

Next steps

Verify the following:

  • systemctl status m-multi service and systemctl status ntpd services are running.
  • The gpg folder is created under the folder: /etc .
