Installing Input output board

Steps

  1. Place the IO board to its slot in the computer [1].
  2. Replace the two (M2.0x4.0) screws that secure the I/O board to the palmrest [2].

  3. Place the IO board bracket to its slot and replace the two (M2.0x4.0) screws that secure the bracket to the IO board [1, 2].

  4. Connect the Type-C power cable to the connector on the IO board [1].
  5. Connect the 30-pin and 40-pin IO board cables and close the latch to secure it to the IO board [2].

Next steps

  1. Install the battery.
  2. Install the base cover.
  3. Install the microSD card.
