Removing display cable

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the microSD card.
  3. Remove the base cover.
  4. Remove the battery.
  5. Remove the display assembly.
  6. Remove the display panel.
  7. Remove the camera.

Steps

  1. Pull out the display cable and the rubber stopper from the hinge cap [1], [2].

  2. Disconnect the camera cable from the camera module and unroute the cable.
  3. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the display cable and lift the display cable away from the display back cover and antenna assembly.
