Restoring Oracle data with RMAN
You can use RMAN scripts to restore an Oracle database, a tablespace, or a single datafile.
Prerequisites
All RMAN backup scripts in the following topics require an avtar flag file. Creating an avtar flag file provides more information.
About this task
NOTE:RMAN command line backups can only be restored through command line restores. Restore of command line backups from the
Avamar Administrator are not supported. Configuring the auxiliary channel is suggested in case an auxiliary instance is created during the restoration of tablespaces, pdbs, datafiles, and so on.
