Log files for RMAN operations cannot be viewed from the Avamar Administrator if a custom var directory is used.
When you use a custom var directory for RMAN backups, all CLI operations complete normally and the log files can be viewed from the custom directory. However, the log files cannot be viewed from the Avamar Administrator.
