Monitoring Health, Capacity and Performance of Systems

Dell APEX Navigator for Multicloud Storage automatically enables telemetry collection from Dell APEX Storage for Public Cloud.

You can view basic health, capacity, and other monitoring information about Dell APEX Block Storage for AWS or Dell APEX File Storage for AWS that you deployed using Dell APEX Navigator on Dell Premier.

From Dell APEX Navigator, you can also view and monitor CAPEX systems.

Monitor > Systems This launches the Systems view that is similar to the view shown in APEX AIOps Observability Monitor > Infrastructure page. This page shows CAPEX and APEX systems in both list and card views. When you click on any links within the page, the details view is displayed in a new tab.

You can also launch APEX AIOps Observability from Dell APEX Navigator to monitor performance, capacity, system components, configuration, data protection, and infrastructure for Dell APEX Block Storage for AWS or Dell APEX File Storage for AWS.

To access the monitoring information, follow one of the navigation paths from the Dell Premier APEX home page:

Manage > Storage Click Manage cloud deployments > Systems. You can view the health scores and capacity of all Dell APEX Storage for Public Cloud systems that are deployed by Dell APEX Navigator on this page.

  1. On the Cloud Deployments tile, click Systems.
  2. Click the deployed system.
  3. In the Deployment Details page, click the Actions drop-down menu.
  4. Click Monitor in APEX AIOps Observability.
You are redirected to APEX AIOps Observability for full monitoring functionality.

  1. On the Cloud Deployments tile, click Systems.
  2. Click the deployed system.
  3. In the Deployment Details page, click the Actions drop-down menu.
  4. Click View details. You can view the detailed health scores and issues.
  5. Click Go to APEX AIOps Observability or Inventory page link at the bottom of the page. On the APEX AIOps Observability home page, click Monitor > Infrastructure to monitor your infrastructure.
