Run the Embedded System Diagnostics from Boot Manager

Run the Embedded System Diagnostics (ePSA) if your system does not boot.

Steps

  1. During the boot process, press F11.
  2. Use the up and down arrow keys to select System Utilities, and then Launch Diagnostics.

    The Quick tests begin.
  3. Alternatively, during the system boot process, press F10 and select Hardware Diagnostics, and then Run Hardware Diagnostics.
    The ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment window displays, lists all the devices that are detected, and runs the diagnostic test on the detected devices.
  4. After the testing is complete, click Results, System Health, Configuration, and then the Event Log tabs to review the results.
  5. Once you have reviewed the information, close the Embedded System Diagnostics utility by selecting the Exit option in the upper right corner.
  6. Select OK to close the Embedded System Diagnostics utility.
