To log in to the iDRAC interface, open a browser and enter the IP address.
You can log in to iDRAC as:
iDRAC user
Microsoft Active Directory user
LDAP user
From the login screen, if you have opted for secure default access to iDRAC, the default username is
root. You can also enter the iDRAC secure default password that is available on back of the Information Tag.
The iDRAC default password is blank on the Information Tag. If you opted for a legacy password, use the iDRAC legacy username and password -
root and
calvin. When prompted, enter the wanted password to proceed. You can also log in by using your Single Sign-On or Smart Card.
After setting up the iDRAC IP address, verify that the default username and password have been changed.
