Dell APEX Cloud Platform MC-760 Hardware Requirements and Specifications

Log in to iDRAC

To log in to the iDRAC interface, open a browser and enter the IP address.

You can log in to iDRAC as:

  • iDRAC user
  • Microsoft Active Directory user
  • LDAP user

From the login screen, if you have opted for secure default access to iDRAC, the default username is root. You can also enter the iDRAC secure default password that is available on back of the Information Tag.

The iDRAC default password is blank on the Information Tag. If you opted for a legacy password, use the iDRAC legacy username and password - root and calvin. When prompted, enter the wanted password to proceed. You can also log in by using your Single Sign-On or Smart Card.

After setting up the iDRAC IP address, verify that the default username and password have been changed.

For more information about logging in to iDRAC and iDRAC licenses, see the Dell Support site and select the version and series of iDRAC that you have installed. To determine the most recent iDRAC release for your platform and for latest documentation version, see KB article 000178115.

To access iDRAC using the RACADM command-line protocol, see iDRAC Manuals. You can also access iDRAC using Redfish API automation tool. For more information, Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller User's Guide Redfish API Guide on the Dell Technologies Developer page.
