Installing the audio and ethernet daughterboard (M.2 interface)
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the audio and ethernet daughterboard and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
NOTE The audio and ethernet daughterboard features a M.2 interface.
Steps
- Turn over the system board, insert the audio and ethernet daughterboard into the M.2 connector on the system board.
- Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the audio and ethernet daughterboard to the system board.

- Follow the procedure from step 5 to step 21 in Installing the system board.
- Install the rear I/O-cover.
- Install the battery.
- Install the display assembly.
- Install the wireless card.
- Install the memory module.
- Install the 2230 solid-state drive or 2280 solid-state drive in SSD slot one, whichever applicable.
