Procedure

  1. Open the hinges to 90 degree and place the display assembly on the palm-rest assembly by rotating outward.Image: Replacing the display assembly
  2. Replace the two screws (M2.5x2.5) that secures the hinges to the palm-rest assembly.Image: Replacing the display assembly
  3. Close the display and turn the computer over.
  4. Slide the display cable into the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
  5. Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.
  6. Connect the camera cable to the system board and adhere the tape that secures the camera cable to the system board.Image: Replacing the display assembly
