Running BIST

Steps

  1. Turn off your computer.
  2. On the back panel of the desktop, press the Power-Supply Diagnostics button.
  3. Perform the following steps based on the conditions indicated.

    The LED indicator displays a solid color without flickering or flashing, and the power-supply fan runs on a normal speed.

    The power supply unit can deliver power to the computer, but something else is impeding the POST process. You can carry on further diagnosis by checking the power button. If there is no issue with the power button, go to No POST troubleshooting.
