Installing the base cover
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the base cover and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Connect the battery cable to the system board.
- Slide the tabs on the base cover into the slots on the computer base and snap the base cover into place.
- Tighten the six captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer base.
