Procedure

  1. Align and place the U.2 fan in the hard-drive assembly bracket.
  2. Replace the two screws (#6-32x6) that secures the U.2 fan to the hard-drive assembly bracket.

  3. Align and place the U.2 solid-state drive in the hard-drive assembly bracket.
  4. Replace the four screws (#6-32x3.6) that secures the U.2 solid- to the hard-drive assembly bracket.

  5. Slide the hard-drive assembly bracket along with the U.2 solid-state drive on the chassis.
  6. Replace the screw (#6-32x6) that secures the U2.solid-state drive to the chassis.
  7. Connect the U.2 fan cable to the fan connector.
  8. Connect the power cable to the connector to the solid-state drive adapter.
