Procedure

1. Align and place the left fan on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the screw (M2x4) that secures the left fan to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Connect the left fan cable (JFAN1) to the system-board assembly.
4. Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system-board assembly.
5. Route the display cable through the routing guides on the left fan.
   NOTE When routing the display cable, make sure that the cable is not routed over the screw hole on the left fan.
6. Connect the display cable to the system-board assembly.
7. Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the display-cable bracket to the system-board assembly.
8. Align and place the right fan on the palm-rest assembly.
9. Connect the right fan cable (JFAN2) cable to the system-board assembly.
10. Route the touch-screen cable (optional) through the routing guides on the right fan.
    NOTE When routing the touch-screen cable, ensure that the cable in not routed over the screw hole on the right fan.
11. Adhere the tape that secures the touch-screen cable (optional) to the right fan.
12. Connect the touch-screen cable (optional) to the system-board assembly.
13. Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the right fan (JFAN2) to the system-board assembly.
