The following updates are added to the ThinOS local settings:
DisplayPort audio is set as the default audio when you hot plug a monitor that supports DisplayPort audio.
Usage of special characters is restricted in Terminal Name. All types of characters are allowed except " ", "+", "=", "/", "\", ":"
Supports keyboard layout switching using hotkeys, layout list, and tray icon from the ThinOS desktop. For more information about how to switch between keyboard layouts, see the

Supports uploading Host File from Admin Policy tool or Wyse Management Suite and synchronize the file to the client to resolve FQDN in the host file. It supports ANSI or UTF-8 encoding, and the maximum file size is 10 KB. You can configure the host file settings from

Device Settings >
Host File Settings on Admin Policy Tool or Wyse Management Suite policy settings.

When a private certificate with CA information is imported, the client displays CA information and private certificate information in
System Tools >
Certificates.
Proxy is enabled for configured applications only, irrespective of availability of DHCP 252. If you configure empty value on Local UI, the Local UI helps to enable for all supported applications by default. If you configure empty value on Wyse Management Suite or Admin Policy Tool, proxy is enabled for none according to the
Proxy Application List
configuration. If DHCP 252 is available, the Wyse Management Suite is enabled to go through proxy by default even when Wyse Management Suite is not configured in
Proxy Application List configuration.
Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) auto renew—When auto renewal happens on the client, the client needs password to renew the client certificate. If you are using an enrollment password which can expire in some time, the enrollment password should be valid when auto renew behavior happens on the client. Dell Technologies recommends you to use admin credentials, or fixed enrollment password to auto enroll certificate, and auto renew certificate.
