Dell Wyse ThinOS Version 9.1.3129, 9.1.3112, 9.1.2101, and 9.1.1131 Operating System Release Notes
Upgrade to ThinOS 9.1.1131 from ThinOS 8.6
If you are running ThinOS 8.6 version, you must first install the ThinOS 9.1.1131 image and then upgrade to ThinOS 9.1.2101.
The device reboots after the ThinOS image is downloaded. Once the upgrade completes, the device is automatically registered to Wyse Management Suite. All device settings are erased after you upgrade from ThinOS 8.6 to 9.1 except the Wyse Management Suite server settings, wireless connections, wireless certificates, and proxy settings. Dell Technologies recommends you to back up your device settings before you initiate the upgrade process.
NOTE:Ensure that the Wyse 5070 BIOS version is 1.3.1 or later before upgrading to ThinOS 9.1. If you upgrade to ThinOS 9.1 with earlier BIOS version and then upgrade the BIOS version to 1.3.1 or later, the device may fail to boot.
